TDAC Official Website vs Fake Sites: Is the TDAC Free?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is free on one official website: tdac.immigration.go.th. Lookalike sites charge anywhere from a few dollars to much more for the same free form — and some appear above the official site in search results.
Who this is for: anyone who wants to be sure they're on the real TDAC site, or who already paid a third party.

In 2025, Thai Immigration, the Tourist Police and Thai embassies ran a public campaign warning travellers about scam sites manipulating search results to look official.
How to spot a fake TDAC site
- It asks for payment. The real TDAC never does — no "processing", "service" or "express" fee.
- The address doesn't end in .go.th. Look out for .com, .org, .info, .in.th or long hyphenated names.
- It promises "fast approval" or "guaranteed entry". The TDAC isn't approved — it's a registration.
- It's a search ad. Paid ads at the top of search results are often third parties. Scroll to the official result or type the address yourself.
- It asks for documents the real form doesn't — bank statements, ID scans, card details.
Already paid a third-party site?
- Check your inbox for an email with a TDAC QR code. If you have one for the right arrival date, you can likely use it.
- No QR code? Submit a free TDAC on the official portal now — the latest submission counts.
- Contact your bank about a chargeback, explaining the site sold you a free government form. Keep screenshots.
- Never give the site more information, and change any password you reused there.
What about travel agents?
Travel agencies and tour operators are officially allowed to submit TDACs for their clients — handy for tour groups. A legitimate agent will tell you upfront whether they charge and will give you the QR code.
Why SignRight never charges
We only explain the form and link you to the official portal. We don't collect your passport details, don't submit anything, and don't charge a fee.
