SignRight is a free website that puts the PDF jobs people do every week in one place: converting, merging, splitting, compressing, signing, editing and protecting documents, plus a library of plain-English legal form templates. There is no subscription and no account is needed to use the tools.
Most of our PDF tools run directly in your browser using JavaScript libraries such as pdf-lib and pdf.js. When you merge, split, rotate, sign or compress a file with one of these tools, the document stays on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers. A smaller set of conversions, including PDF to Word, PDF to Excel and Word to PDF, depends on a third-party conversion service, and our Privacy Policy explains exactly which tools those are and how the files are handled.
Alongside the PDF tools we publish legal form templates such as residential leases, non-disclosure agreements, bills of sale, promissory notes and invoices. These are starting points written in plain language so that ordinary people can understand what they are signing. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.
We also publish step-by-step guides for travel and tax paperwork, including India's Air Suvidha and e-Arrival card, the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC), the Singapore Arrival Card, the Vietnam e-arrival declaration and the IRS Form W-8BEN. The aim is to explain who needs each form, when to complete it and which mistakes cause delays at the border or at a bank.
SignRight is owned and operated by MicroTech Cloud LLC, a company registered in the United States. We are a small team, and we read and answer every message that reaches us. Corrections to a guide are especially welcome: if you spot something that is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will review the page and fix it.
SignRight is free to use. To cover hosting and development costs we display advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertising never changes what our tools or guides say, and we do not accept payment to recommend a product or to alter the information on a page. Details about the cookies that advertising partners may set, and how to opt out of personalised ads, are in our Privacy Policy.
Questions, feedback, corrections or privacy requests can all be sent through our contact page. Our Terms of Service describe the conditions for using the site.
